I was a little nervous about this wedding day for the single reason it was supposed to be a hundred degrees and outside. However, between the amazing staff at Heritage Prairie Farm and Ally and Jose’s on point planning, everything turned out awesome.
I think this would be a great example for how to throw an outside wedding when it’s 100 degrees outside. First of all, have a great attitude (check). Ally and Jose were all about each other and their guests. They rocked their day and literally made every single person they talked with know how special it meant to them they had come to celebrate with them.
Second of all, make sure you have lots and lots of cold, summer drinks on hand (check). Heritage Prairie Farm provided infused watermelon, lemon, orange, mint, and other iced water that was literally everywhere you looked. The bride and groom also had the perfect summer cocktail (the mule) complete with a garnish of pickle and something else (not sure).
Finally, shade and fans (check). The farm provided extra tents and cover as well as a water spritzer and parasols for the ceremony. They had tons of fans around for cool relief and hand held fans for all the guests.
