Some like it hot and some like it not quite so hot. Courtney doesn’t really love heat and humidity, like most of the human population, and her and Nick were given probably the most humid day of the year for their nuptuals. It didn’t matter, though. The wedding was amazingly beautiful and everyone had an unforgettable day. I can picture it….. 50 years from now, they are sitting on the porch watching their grandkids play in the pool and remembering when…..” Our wedding day was hot like this”.
So…it was hot and we decided to ditch all our ideas for park/outside pictures, but as you can tell, Nick and Courtney still worked it for the camera. On the way to the ceremony, I stopped at Shady Hill Gardens and they agreed to let us use their greenhouse for some pictures to at least keep us out of the sun. It was still very uhhhhh sultry, but 100% worth it. We stopped there between the ceremony (St. Gall’s) and reception (Seville) and knocked out 5 minutes of back-dripping beautifulness. Thanks, Nick and Courtney, for being great models. We hope you love all the memories we created here for you.
Nick’s best man was his Grandfather, Jim Sr., and he let them use his 1966 Ford Mustang Convertible for a cool, vintage ride as their getaway.
Party time. 🙂

LauraThe bride is beautiful, you captured the fun and joy of the wedding party….and yet, my favorite image was the rings on the Happily Ever After ribbon. So beautiful, so interesting, so symbolic—-just love that picture.
Missy MillerLaura, This is one of my favorite “ring” shots ever. 🙂
CaitlinThese are great! It is so awesome that his best man was his Grandfather! It looks like it was super fun day, in spite of the heat! What a gorgeous couple.
Courtney & Nick WebbMissy!! We just finished watching our two hour long slide show of all of our pictures for the first time. We absolutely love them and couldn’t be happier. We were worried because of the heat that we weren’t going to have very many pictures, however, you somehow pulled it off. Your idea of going to the green house when I wanted to skip anything and everything outdoors, worked out great and have some priceless shots. It was worth dealing with miserable heat. Even before the wedding we had a great time shooting our engagement photos with you. You were a lot of fun to work with while still being very professional and orginal. We had no worries in preparing for the big day because we knew we had your support. Nick was very impressed with the photographer you chose to help with the wedding. We had such a great time at the wedding and we can’t wait to design our photobook with you. We want to thank you for everything you have done for us and we look forward to all the many years ahead of working with you. -Nick & Courtney
