This couple had a large wedding party of twenty-seven, including ushers, flower girls, and ring bearers. When I walked into the bride’s getting ready location, I expected more chaos and less calm, but it was all so easy and relaxed.  By the end of the night, I understood why.  Evan and Haley are two extremely amazing people who have found one another surrounded by so many other wonderful people who love them dearly.  The kindness, compassion, love, joy, and sincerity in this couples hearts showed in how their friends and family celebrated their marriage every minute of this beautiful May day.  So many tears and so much laughter.  It’s what every wedding day is made of.

Their colors were petal (blush pink) with gold accents. Haley wore a one-of-a-kind Allure dress with blush underlay, crystal straps, and a low crystal edged back. Evan wore a sharp navy blue tuxe with black lapel.  They were married at the Glen Ellyn Bible Church in Glen Ellyn, Il and their reception was at the brand new Nagel Emporium at  Abbey Farms in Aurora, Illinois.  Abbey Farms has only been open for a very short year and a half for weddings, but their brand new facility makes for a terrific reception location.   We spent a little time in between the ceremony and reception at Wheaton college to take some pictures with their wedding party and college friends.  Evan and Haley did not see each other before the wedding, but she did spend a quiet moment in prayer with him without seeing each other at the church in Glen Ellyn.

Later, the two of them danced on a super-packed dance floor under the pine beams of the Abbey Farms pavilion.  The DJ even called Haley behind the booth to scratch out a tune.  She, of course, rocked it.  So excited to be a part of this day.  Thank you, Evan and Haley, for choosing us as your wedding photographer.  Enjoy their story……
