This engagement photographer is truly a summer person. I feel like I wait all year for the first of June to arrive, because to me, that is when summer starts. June is summer and this first of June did not disappoint. It was the prettiest evening. I had been looking forward to Eric and Sarah’s engagement shoot ever since I first met her and she said she wanted to have the shoot at their house and maybe jump on the trampoline and take some pics with their chickens. I am a big fat sucker for chickens.
Not only does this beautiful couple have a great home, but they also included Eric’s two awesome kids in the shoot. We made it into a sort of “day in the life” type session, but in two-ish hours. I had so much fun working with this couple and I am uber excited about their upcoming wedding this year at The Homestead 1854 in Plano, Illinois.
Note from Sarah: “You nailed it. We are absolutely stunned. These are some of the best engagement photos I’ve ever seen… and they’re ours! THANK YOU, we can’t wait for you to photograph our wedding! Can’t. Stop. Looking. AT THEM!”
